Biographical Statement

Salamun is an assistant professor in public law and in political and administrative science at Graz University. She has a PhD and two masterís degrees (in law and English-American studies) and studied at Oxford Brookes University. Salamunís research deals with comparative public law and EC law. She published the monograph Democratic Governance in International Territorial Administration (2005) and a number of essays on SEE law. With a fellowship awarded by the Austrian Research Association, she was a visiting lecturer/researcher at SEE universities and gave presentations at the Faculty of Management at Warsaw University, the University of Prishtina, and the School of Slavonic and East European Studies at University College London. She was a legal advisor for the OSCE in Albania and an expert within different EU-funded projects, most recently in Romania. She will be at CES in the spring of 2008.
