Biographical Statement

Leeb recently received her PhD in political science from the New School for Social Research. She also has a doctorate in psychology from the University of Vienna. Currently she holds the three-year APART grant from the Austrian Academy of Sciences. Her research focuses on continental political philosophy and theory, feminist political theory, critical theory and psychoanalysis. She is the author of the book Working-Class Women in Elite Academia: A Philosophical Inquiry (2004) and the co-editor of the anthology Feminists Contest Politics and Philosophy (2005). Her articles have been accepted for publication in major journals, such as Political Theory, Philosophy and Social Criticism and Theory and Event. Leeb is currently working on her book manuscript "Rethinking Justice with Marx, Adorno and Lacan."
