Biographical Statement

Eglene is a visiting assistant professor of political science at Middlebury College, where she teaches European politics and international political economy. She received a PhD in political science with a Distinguished Doctoral Dissertation Award from the State University of New York at Albany in 2006. Her research interests lie in European integration, especially in the areas of economic and monetary policy. Her current project is a longitudinal study of the preferences and lobbying activities of the British business and financial sectors on the issue of euro membership. She will be in residence at CES from January to August of 2008.
