Yannis Ioannides

Since 1995, Ioannides has been Max and Herta Neubauer Professor of Economics at Tufts University. He holds a Diploma in Engineering from the National Technical University, Athens, and a PhD from Stanford University. He has published more than ninety scientific works. His current research interests combine social economics and macroeconomics, with special emphasis on economicintegration and inequality, social interactions and networks, and housing markets. He served as a member of the MacArthur Foundation Research Network on Social Interactions and Economic Inequality, and as consultant to EU, US, and Greek institutions. His current work focuses on social interactions and urban structure on a world scale and on international aspects of housing market dynamics. Ioannides is co-chairing the Greek Study Group at CES.
