Charles G. Cogan

Cogan is in the process of translating his book La République de Dieu (2008) into English for possible publication in the US. He is contributing articles to and blogs for the World Policy Journal on Afghanistan, the Arab-Israeli conflict, and Iran. He is continuing to do presentations on French Radio and TV. With other former practitioners, and a group of academics, he is a member of an Iranian-American discussion group focusing on US-Iran relations during the Iran-Iraq War, 1980–1988. An initial meeting was held at St. Simon’s Island, Georgia in November 2008 and a second is expected in 2010, possibly in Istanbul. The project is sponsored by Brown University, MIT, and the National Security Archive.
