David Art

Art is assistant professor of political science at Tufts University, where he teaches courses on European politics and comparative politics. He is the author of The Politics of the Nazi Past in Germany and Austria (2006), and his articles have been published in Comparative Politics, Party Politics, Annals of the American Academy of Political and Social Science, and German Politics and Society. He is currently finishing a second book that examines why radical right parties have succeeded in some European states but failed in others. Art was a Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute in 2008–2009.
