Biographical Statement

Rosenblum is associate professor at Webster University, St. Louis. His interests include comparative social policy, public history, and modern Jewish history. He is the author of Beyond the Prison Gates: Punishment and Welfare in Germany, 1850-1933 (2008). He is currently writing a book about the Haas-Helling murder case of 1926 and the "crisis of popular trust" in the justice system during the Weimar Republic. He will be in residence at CES from September to January.
