Marius R. Busemeyer

Busemeyer is researcher at the Max Planck Institute for the dy of Societies. His research focuses on comparative political economy and welfare state research, specializing in the fields of education, social and fiscal policy. He has recently finished a research project on the politics of institutional change in the German vocational training system. While at CES, Busemeyer is planning to continue working on the subject of the comparative political economy of education and training by looking at other country cases in comparison to Germany. Busemeyer received his doctorate in political science from the University of Heidelberg in 2006. He has published, among others, in the European Journal of Political Research, the Journal of European Public, and the Socio-Economic Review.
