Muriel Rouyer

Rouyer is professor of political science at the Faculty of Law of the University of Nantes. Her research interests include political theory, the European Union, and feminism. Her book on a large-scale model of democracy for the EU is forthcoming in 2009. She is currently working on an edited volume on cosmopolitanism in Europe, based on the proceedings of an international conference held in France in 2008. She has published articles in Raisons Politiques, Politique Europeenne, l'Annuaire Francais de Relations Internationales, Encyclopediae Universalis, and several edited volumes. During her stay at CES, she will develop her project on the political freedom of European citizens in relation to their culture of rights (or lack thereof) since 1945.
