Yascha Mounk

Mounk studies political theory, the history of European political thought and is interested in the varieties ofliberalism across Europe. He received his BA in Historyand MPhil in political thought from Trinity College,Cambridge. After working as a theatre director in Germanyfor a year, he studied political theory at ColumbiaUniversity and in Paris. At home in Montelaterone, Italy,Mounk is the editor of The Utopian magazine and haspublished articles in the International Herald Tribune, The Boston Globe, and other international newspapers and magazines.
