Biographical Statement

Linstrum is in his third year at Harvard focusing on the cultural and intellectual history of modern Europe. His dissertation will consider the uses of psychology in the twentieth-century British Empire. Other interests include the translation of Freud into English and the politics of reading in nineteenth-century Germany.
