Biographical Statement
Kelly is a third-year graduate student in the PhD program in government and specializes in comparative politics.Her research focuses on Franco-African interdependenceand how it shapes domestic politics in both France andfrancophone African countries. Building upon previousfield experience in France, Ghana, and Senegal, her workexplores how Franco-African alliances have impactedincentives for regime change in Africa, for participation intransnational financial networks, and for ethnically-basedpolitical organization in France.
