Christy Colburn

As the Student Programs Coordinator at CES, Christy manages both undergraduate and graduate activities and programs, administers CES grants and internships, and works to increase student involvement at the Center. Christy holds a B.A. in English and a Master's degree in Intercultural Relations. She studied abroad in Luxembourg as an undergraduate; worked abroad in Prague, Czech Republic teaching English and music; and spent a year working for the UN in Geneva, Switzerland. Before coming to CES, Christy advised international students at MIT.Christy's background also involves work in international development, including rural public health care in Haiti and Honduras. She has always had a fondness for European culture, however, and is delighted to be at CES. Christy lives in Somerville with her husband and two children.
