Biographical Statement

Hardy is assistant professor of political science at Northeastern University where she teaches international political economy, comparative politics, and European politics. She completed her Ph.D. in political science at the University of California, Berkeley and spent two years at Harvard University on a pre-dissertation fellowship. She has also taught at Brown University. Her research focuses on global regulatory reform in telecommunications, involving both quantitative analysis of liberal market reform in countries worldwide and case studies within Central and Northern Europe. She has received research support from the University of California’s Institute for Cooperation and Conflict and the Berkeley Post-Soviet Studies Program. She has additionally consulted for the World Bank, the OECD, and the European Union.
