Biographical Information

Skolnikoff is a professor emeritus of political science at MIT and former director of the MIT Center for International Studies. His research concentrates on science and public policy issues, international relations, and technology and international politics. Among his publications are Science, Technology, and American Foreign Policy (1967), The International Imperatives of Technology (1972), and The Elusive Transformation: Science, Technology, and the Evolution of International Politics (1993). Skolnikoff is one of the editors of Visions of Apocalypse: End or Rebirth? (1985) and of Implementing Environmental Commitments (1999).
