CES generally does not provide funding for Visiting Scholars. Most have their own source of funding such as sabbatical salary, grants from their home governments, or other private organizations.
CES hosts a small number of scholars from specific centers or institutions who receive support from CES or partner organizations. These include:
The John F. Kennedy Memorial Fellowship
The Sciences-Po/GSAS Exchange Fellowship
The Schumpeter Fellowship

* Please note that CES no longer offers the James Bryant Conant Post-Doctoral Fellowship.
Below are some additional recommendations for stipendiary fellowships that are not affiliated with CES from which past Visiting Scholars have benefited:

"The Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies is the perfect place for my sabbatical: Here, I find time to write my book, surrounded by many fascinating colleagues who work on related issues or with similar concepts. Harvard's libraries are a true paradise Ð not only because of the collections but also because of the extremely competent and prompt service. I am very grateful for the John F. Kennedy Memorial Fellowship that has enabled me to experience all this."
