The Undergraduate Board is an officially recognized Harvard College student group that organizes events targeting an undergraduate audience and engages in outreach with the undergrad community. Students have the opportunity to become directly involved in the creation of exciting programs aimed at their peers, including talks with professors and visiting scholars on pertinent themes, a European movie series, and an annual soiree.

Movie Series: The Board screens major European films at the Center throughout the year. CES faculty are often invited to provide an introduction and a personal take on the movie, which generates interesting, interactive dialogue. Movies are typically shown in the CES Lower Level Conference Room on weeknight evenings following pizza in the lobby. Please see the CES events calendar for further details.
The next event in the 2009-2010 movie series is as follows:

Citizen Havel is a new fly-on-the-wall documentary about the former Czech president. The film draws on 45 hours of unique behind-the-scenes footage of Václav Havel shot over a period of 13 years. The result is a film that lifts the curtain on the Havel presidency, in a way that no other politician has been captured on screen before.
