Harvard College European Society
The Harvard College European Society (HCES), formerly the Center for European Studies Undergraduate Board (CESUB), is an officially recognized Harvard College student group that organizes events targeting an undergraduate audience and engages in outreach with the undergrad community. Students have the opportunity to become directly involved in the creation of exciting programs aimed at their peers, including talks with professors and visiting scholars on pertinent themes, a European movie series, and an annual ball.

HCES-Sponsored Events
Movie Series: HCES screens major European films at the Center throughout the year. CES faculty are often invited to provide an introduction and a personal take on the movie, which generates interesting, interactive dialogue. Movies are typically shown in the CES Lower Level Conference Room on weeknight evenings following pizza in the lobby. Please see the CES events calendar for further details.
Music Series: HCES recently started a music series which focuses on music from a different area in Europe every month. Talented musicians are invited to perform and drinks and refreshments are served. The event is usually held at an undergraduate house, but on occasion may take place at CES.
Dinner with CES Visiting Scholars and Professors: HCES organizes special events which give undergraduates the chance to interact with visiting scholars and professors. These take place over a small dinner gathering in residential house dining halls.
Venetian Ball: HCES holds an annual Venetian Masquerade Ball in the Spring Semester at CES in Busch Hall Atrium and Museum. Please join the mailing list below for more information.
